MENTORSHIP
We concentrate our efforts towards young people and connect them with experts of various professions. We give young people a great platform to network with community leaders and gain exposure to opportunities they previously lacked. We provide guidance to the ones that need it most!
MEDIA CENTER
With the generous donations last year, we were able to create our Media Center. The Media Center includes editing software, recording software, two dynamic microphones, a green screen, studio lighting, red carpet, step and repeat backdrop, chairs, desks, and a small kitchenette. This Media Center gives us a place to mentor young people interested in the media industry.
TINY HOMES COMMUNITY
Our organization created a proposal for a Tiny Homes Community to be constructed in Allentown for our unsheltered population. We have been working tirelessly on building the relationships and trust with this vulnerable population and have combined efforts with other local organizations to make this Tiny Homes Community a reality.
#TENTCITY DOCUMENTARY
Our board member Tim Foster from We Live TV Productions, and Movement Moves Media were nominated as finalists at the International Short Film Festival in Lancaster last year for our documentary BikeLife_610. It was a film to provide a different perspective into the young, wheelie poppin’ group. This year, we worked on #TentCity – a captivating and powerful short documentary about the growing unsheltered population in Allentown. The film will be used to create a community conversation around this important topic and put pressure on those in elected positions who will vote on the Tiny Homes Community Proposal this year.
